As a Security and Compliance Solutions Architect at AWS, you'll build technical relationships with customers of all sizes and operate as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey.

You'll manage the overall technical security relationship between AWS and our customers, making recommendations on security, compliance, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to accelerate their challenging projects. Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS security services and features. In this role, your creativity will build effective design patterns addressing customer challenges, with the opportunity to define or invent cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases. You will Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences).
If you can educate AWS customers about the art of the possible, while challenging the impossible, come build the future with us. You will also have to manage the relationship with selected top Security partners of AWS, including ISV and GSI. You will be asked to lead some of the key team initiatives, including connecting to other geos security team to create synergies and share best practises. This role is within the EMEA organization and you would be working predominantly with Enterprise customers. This is an opportunity to join Amazon's technical teams, working with our engineers on the new services that power the cloud ecosystem, while developing your skills and furthering your career within what we believe to be one of the most innovative and progressive technology companies. This role will specifically focus on the security and compliance aspects of AWS Services and on helping our customers and partners build innovative and secure Solutions and Businesses. As a Security Specialist Solutions Architect (SA), you will help customers select the technologies that will support their business requirements. Part of the Specialist Solutions Architecture team, you will work closely with the other Specialist SAs on Big Data, Databases, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or Modern Applications Development, as well as the Business Development teams, to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive the adoption of AWS for their platforms. You will interact with other SAs, providing guidance on their customer engagements by developing white papers, blogs, reference implementations, and presentations to enable customers and 3rd parties to fully leverage the AWS platform. You will also create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate AWS solutions into customer architectures. Candidates have a mix of communication and technical skills, and will have the ability to engage with customers at different levels in the organization, from executive to developer. Previous experience with AWS is desired but not required, provided you have experience building large scale solutions. You will get the opportunity to work directly with senior engineers at customers, partners and AWS service teams, influencing their roadmaps and driving innovation. If you are someone who enjoys innovating, likes solving hard problems and working on the cutting edge of technology, we would love to have you on the team.
