About the positionThe Quality Assurance Specialist is part of the Quality team at siteKarlshamn and collaborates with production, engineering, quality control laboratory,purchasing and other functions to make sure we have the right quality for ourproducts and customers. The QA Specialist assures compliance with regulatory requirements, certificationstandards and internal company procedures for products manufactured in our productionprocess for oils and fats.
The work as a QA specialist will be focused on driving continuousimprovements of site quality systems as well as being involved in QA taskswithin the food area. Supporting increating a positive food safety culture. The position is full-time, and you will be based in Karlshamn, Sweden.
Main responsibilities:
Who are you?
To be successful in this role you have a university degree in food science,food engineering or other relevant education and you have at least 3 years of experiencefrom a similar position within the food business. You have solid knowledgeabout quality managementsystems, food legislation and certification standards.
We value good cooperation skills, that you are driven in your way ofworking and can perform and prioritize your work based on set goals. We expectyou to have the right skills to perform tasks accurately without continuoussupervision but seeking input from others as needed. Furthermore, you have tohave strong project management skills and you enjoy working both individuallyand within a team.
You need to have the ability to communicate with authorities,customers and people on different levels within the organization. As a person,you enjoy working with problem solving and continuous improvements and aresupporting in creating a positive quality and food safety culture.
