- Het up to date houden van de Bill of Materials
- Aanleggen en beheren van de specificaties in SAP/PLM
- Het beheren van artwork voor verpakkingsmaterialen in SAP/PLM.
- Opstellen en beheersen van cutterguides voor de verpakkingsmaterialen.
- Oplossen van kwaliteitsproblemen van grondstoffen, inclusief klachten, in samenwerking met productieafdelingen, kwaliteits- en logistieke afdelingen.
- Je werkt samen met de productieafdelingen en het diverse afdelingen samen om verliezen als gevolg van overconsumptie en procesproblemen van grondstoffen te minimaliseren.
- Beheer, coördineer en evalueer activiteiten tijdens de introductie van nieuwe grondstoffen of optimalisatie van bestaande grondstoffen.
- Je maakt voorstellen voor materiaal- en kostenbesparingen.
- Evaluatie van leveranciers in samenwerking met de productieafdeling en afdeling Inkoop.
- Onderhouden van goede werkrelatie met leveranciers van grondstoffen.
- Organiseren en voeren van bijeenkomsten met leveranciers van grondstoffen om de kwaliteitsverbetering te monitoren.
- Je bent een rolmodel voor veiligheid, milieu en kwaliteit
- Je hebt een afgeronde hbo-opleiding, bijvoorbeeld (technische) bedrijfskunde, levensmiddelentechnologie of een andere richting;
- Je hebt bij voorkeur al enige werkervaring opgedaan, maar als je dat niet hebt gaan we ook graag het gesprek aan;
- Je vindt het interessant met veel facetten van het productieproces in aanraking te komen. Denk hierbij aan inkoop, productie, logistiek tot en met klachtafhandeling;
- Je bent zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels in staat om mensen mee te krijgen;
- Je vindt het leuk teamverband te werken;
- Accuraat werken is voor jou een vanzelfsprekendheid;
- Ervaring met het werken in SAP is een pre;
- Je bent in staat om te prioriteren.

Als Material Engineer bij Essity ben je verantwoordelijk voor instandhouding en verbeteringen van onze verpakkingsmaterialen en grondstoffen. Jij bent de verbinder tussen onze productiesite, onze collega's (R&D/ materiaalspecialisten) en leveranciers. Jij bent daarin een onmisbare schakel voor het initiëren, uitvoeren en leiden van materiaal kostenbesparing en innovatieprogramma's. Daarnaast zorg jij ervoor dat prestaties van onze grondstoffenleveranciers continu verbeteren. Je gaat met verschillende projecten aan de slag en zorgt dat de projectdoelen worden gerealiseerd. Je onderhoudt ook het artwork en de specificaties van de grondstoffen en zorgt ervoor dat de bill of materials (BoM) up to date blijven.
