The Manager Procurement Nordics will be responsible for overseeing the procurement activities for the Nordics region of Unilabs. This position requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of procurement processes and best practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing the procurement procedures to drive cost savings and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and business needs.

• Lead the procurement process for the Nordics region, including sourcing, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize procurement needs and requirements.

• Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess market trends, and gather information to support informed decision-making.

• Drive cost savings initiatives by identifying areas for strategic sourcing, negotiating favorable terms and conditions, and optimizing supplier performance.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Analyze procurement data and KPIs to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in procurement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master, MBA, etc.) is a plus.

• Proven experience (7-10 years) in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.

• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier management skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

• Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.

• Full proficiency in English is mandatory. Fluency in Nordic languages (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian) is highly desirable.
