CIP global executive search has been assigned to recruit a Head of Finance for a lifestyle brand.

Job Description

As the Head of Finance, you will be the coordinator for everything related to Finance and Personnel. You will be ultimately responsible for the company's finances and for ensuring the company's accounts, balance sheet, and financial statements are accurate. You will work closely with the CEO to set budgets, KPIs, and operational goals and then ensure that these are adhered to within the organization. You will be responsible for providing data and reporting to the board in the form of financial statements and balance reports against the budget.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Development of the annual budget and revisions of it.
• Financial reporting to the board and internally at the group level.
• Deviation analysis against budget and cost control.
• Main contact for finance, payroll, and accounting with external accounting firms in Sweden and the USA as well as internally.
• Ongoing accounting.
• Cash and liquidity analysis.
• Bank and currency transactions.
• Ensure well-functioning routines and reports for accurate accounting.

Profile and experience

To succeed in the role of Head of Finance, you should have a good understanding of accounting and business analysis. You should be able to easily work with different business systems and integrations to gather data for the reports you need. As a person, you are solution-oriented and reliable in your work approach. You have a good understanding of financial flows and excellent skills in programs like Excel and other accounting software.

• Academic education in finance and/or accounting.
• 4+ years of experience in qualified accounting work in organizations or consulting firms/audit firms.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles such as K2 and K3.
• Knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
• Good knowledge and experience in accounting for production and inventory.
• You have excellent skills in Excel and accounting systems.
• Technically knowledgeable and can quickly understand and adapt to new systems.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards including technical aspects of Swedish accounting, tax regulations, and internal control.
