What you'll do at Nexus

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work on Nexus Smart ID
Digital Access. Smart ID Digital access management is the component that
defines how to grant and manage secure access to different users to the
right digital resources. Digital Access provides several methods for
multifactor authentication, authorization of users by access rules, and
an access portal to collect all available resources. Identity federation
and single sign-on (SSO) enable users to log in once to get access to
multiple applications and systems. To grow with the market, we are
constantly making the product more feature-rich, and easy to deploy in
the cloud, on-premises, or deliver as a Service.

• You will primarily be the Quality Assurance Engineer within the team.
• You will serve as an architect in the cloud transition.
• You will contribute to interesting feature development activities.
• You will help drive the DevOps story and enable the team to become more DevOps-oriented.
• You will work closely with customers, facilitating direct contact with internal and external stakeholders.
• This interaction may involve new feature development, cloud strategy discussions, PoCs, or PKI ceremonies.
• The team operates under the principle of "you develop it, you run it."

You will also do awesome things like:

• Engage with automation and innovation.
• Develop strategies for automated tests and higher automation test coverage.
• Analyze complex system behavior, performance, and application issues.
• Working with cross-functional teams to deliver a world-class product with high quality.

About you

• You are an effective communicator, able to convey ideas clearly and engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
• You have strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to troubleshooting and finding solutions.
• You have the ability to foster teamwork and build positive relationships to achieve common objectives.
• You have the ability to quickly adjust to changes and challenges, ensuring continued effectiveness in your role.

Qualifications

• You are experienced in testing/verification of
  server and/or client applications.
• You are experienced in security (e.g. PKI,
  SAML), microservices, Spring Boot and Docker can work in your favor.
• You posses academic education in engineering, specializing in Computers or equivalent.
• You are experienced in test automation.
• You posses expertise in writing automated tests using the language of your choice like Java, Python, etc.
• You are experienced in load and performance testing of high-volume critical systems.
• You are experienced in authoring tests with Selenium.

To thrive in this role you should enjoy being a passionate defender
of the DevOps mindset. You like sharing your ideas and inspiring people
around you. You have at least 4-5 years of experience with software
testing.

You have knowledge and understanding of public and
private cloud, related technologies e.g. Docker, Azure, Kubernetes. Good
to have: knowledge of Gradle, GIT, ReST.

If you also have experience in security, that's great, however, we at
least expect strong interest and willingness to learn. We are looking
for someone who can take ownership and work independently as well as
collaborate with colleagues
