As our Commercial Operations Manager, you will have an integral part in ensuring we stay on top of the market and continue to enrich and simplify the consumers' lives.

    Samsung continues to grow and is now looking for a Commercial Operations Manager for our Direct To Consumer (D2C) Team. In this role, you will lead the Operations team, consisting of 5 people. You will have specialists in E-commerce, Supply chain, and logistics in your team. The team and you will sit in our Kista office, but work on a Nordic Level. Your manager will be the D2C Commercial Manager, Jonas Lindblom.

    Role and Responsibilities

    The primary purpose of the role is to lead the team. D2C and the set-up of this team is quite new. This means that you will be part of the continuous improvement of the team's ways of working. In things such as processes and projects, or strengthening the team. It will also be important to lead and coach the individuals on the team for future growth.

    You'll be the driving force behind our operations, ensuring precision and efficiency at every turn. You and your team are responsible for analyzing sales trends, fine-tuning processes, and fostering communication with our teams both locally and at headquarters. You'll constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve, whether it's by monitoring KPIs, building customer relationships, or optimizing our supply chain operations. And of course, you'll be the go-to person for negotiating and reviewing 3rd party Logistics contracts, ensuring we always have the best partnerships in place.

    Your key deliverables are:

  • Sales Forecast accuracy and Sales Target achievement.
  • Optimizing our Supply Chain and Logistics operations.
  • Driving Innovation and excellence.
  • Price relevance vs the market and omnibus compliance.
  • Building the team and create strong collaborations with internal stakeholders.
  • Guide, coach, and support 5 team members in their daily operation.

    • Skills and Qualifications

    We are looking for an experienced leader who can manage and elevate the team. A leader who has an interest in and understanding others builds

    team spirit, recognizes and rewards the contribution of others, and listens and communicates proactively. Because of the nature of Samsung and D2C, curiosity will greatly help you thrive in the role. Someone who is always looking to learn new things in your own area of expertise, as well as other areas.

    The requirements for the role are:

  • At least 3 years of leadership experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience working with E-commerce, logistics, or Supply Chain Management
  • Proven track record of working with process and organizational improvements, preferably over cross-divisional structures.
  • Degree in Business Administration, E-Commerce, Logistics or equivalent
  • Experience working within a commercially driven sales organization
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication skills in English
