- M.Sc within Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, preferable within the Applied Mechanics area.

- Proficient in spoken and written Swedish, fluent in English

The team
You will be part of a diverse team of 12 skilled calculation engineers, many with extensive experience in the field. It's a social group that is passionate about their work, but also doesn't hesitate to prioritize coffee breaks with some home baked fika.
This Analysis & Concept team performs state of the art computational based analysis of powertrain structures concerning durability, strength, vibrations and noise. They create computer analysis models from different design descriptions to process and derive data representing important behavior and attributes. From this we issue conclusions and recommendations to help improve our products. They work closely with the CAD, Concept and Test teams to ensure good collaboration. The role may involve occasional trips to Skövde and Torslanda. It may also include attending conferences to stay up to date with the latest FEM tools, often worldwide. Additionally, the role may sometimes entail certain supplier visits alongside with the designers.Example of work tasks:
