    We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Support Specialist to join our team.

    The primary responsibility of this role is to provide live/real-time technical support for Hiab/Loglift-Jonsered equipment to internal teams, external partners, 3rd-party collaborators and end-users.

    The location of this position is Sodertalje, Sweden and travel may be required on occasion to other sites.

    Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive technical support for Hiab's product range
  • Being the Hiab 'Train a Trainer' for all Hiab products
  • Continuous development of training & technical support aids such as Engineers interactive information
  • Discussing product issues via telephone and assisting engineers with on-site troubleshooting, as well as technical assistance & support on delicate matters to provide solutions and assure customer satisfaction & protect future sales
  • Reviewing & advising the service team with high cost quotations & dispute queries
  • Reporting product faults and issues using C-Case, and liaising with factory personnel
  • Space password management & yearly password renewal & distribution
  • Handle and resolve customer disputes
  • Provide FLU support in technical advise such as Warranty guidance and quotation accuracy
  • Provide support and guidance to 3rd parties such as installers and body builders on correct ways of installing our equipment
  • Support digitalisation of the product offering
  • Downloading and reporting upon SAC file information as and when required.
  • What you'll need to succeed

    Education:

  • Hold a hydraulics qualification (desirable)
  • Have a sound knowledge of mobile hydraulics and ideally variable pumps and electrical control systems
  • Ideally Possess a Lorry Loader crane Operators license.
  • Working experience:

  • Have demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer service within a crane, lorry loader crane or hydraulics industry
  • SAP system knowledge would be preferable but is not essential.
  • Competence and skills:

  • Possess good IT skills, including Google, MS Office, Outlook and C-office (C-Service)
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Be confident and comfortable interfacing with other departments and stakeholders
  • Be self-motivated, capable of working under pressure, and able to operate with minimal supervision
  • Be a good team player and flexible with regards to tasks performed.
