Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a leading independent school group with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is in both Swedish and English, and the hallways are bilingual. The language of meetings and communication amongst the staff is English.
IES is one of Sweden's largest school groups at compulsory school level with 46 schools and around 32,000 students across the country. IES was established in 1993 and has since grown steadily whilst maintaining its quality.

Internationella Engelska Skolan Årsta söker nu en engagerad lärare i matematikInternationella Engelska Skolan Årsta är en grundskola för årskurs 4-9 med ca 700 elever och 80 anställda. IES Årsta är en skola där engagemang, höga studieresultat och mångfald står i centrum. Vi är mycket stolta över vår internationella gemenskap bland både elever och medarbetare och ser detta som en unik styrka i vår organisation. Skolan ligger i Årsta, nära såväl Gullmarsplan som Årstaberg med mycket goda bussförbindelser.

Arbetsbeskrivning
Som mattelärare på IES Årsta kommer du att undervisa i årskurs 4-6, samt att ha en delad mentorsklass med en av dina härliga lärarkollegor. Du kommer att arbeta för en stimulerande klassrumsmiljö för effektiv undervisning och lärande, samtidigt som du upprätthåller skolans värdegrund både i och utanför klassrummet. Utöver undervisningen kommer du att ha nära kontakt med vårdnadshavare om elevens utveckling, framsteg och prestationer för att skapa bästa möjliga förutsättningar för eleven att lyckas med sina studier.
Det huvudsakliga arbetsspråket är engelska mellan kollegor och elever, du behöver behärska det engelska språket i tal och skrift.

Vi tror att du som söker är utåtriktad och social, har lätt för att skapa relationer till såväl elever som kollegor och trivs i en dynamisk miljö där det ständigt händer nya saker. Vi tror även att du är bra på att prioritera och är självgående i ditt arbete. I den här rollen är det viktigt att du har en god kommunikationsförmåga samt är bra på att samarbeta, då du kommer jobba nära dina kollegor.
Svensk lärarlegitimation med behörighet att undervisa i matematik är ett krav för denna tjänst. Denna tjänst är ett föräldravikariat med start i augusti 2024.
