We're on the lookout for a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to be our go-to person in our crucial Data Centers in Vasteras. Your main goal is to ensure that our Data Center Engineering Operations are always up and running smoothly, meeting and even surpassing the set service levels. Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the operation and maintenance of critical equipment within the Data Center/Facility.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting all systems within the Data Center.
• Providing support to ensure proper operation and upkeep of facility equipment.
• Participating in site walk-throughs to confirm everything is running smoothly.

A Day in the Life

As part of your daily routine, you'll be responsible for monitoring alarms and systems, coordinating vendor works, supporting events and new equipment deployment, and assisting team members.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in electrical, mechanical, and/or controls.
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical and mechanical competencies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proven problem-solving skills and adherence to procedures.
• Knowledge of safe electrical practices and SLA maintenance.
• Proficiency in basic IT programs.
• Valid driving license required.

Note: Role includes 24x7 shift rotation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls engineering.
• Experience in heavy industry or data centers preferred.
• Understanding of basic electrical principles and systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical-room infrastructure and backup generator systems.
• Strong sense of ownership and proactiveness.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other teams.
