About the school

Praktiska Gymnasiet in Västerås is an attractive school offering four to five programs with about 250 students. We focus on high-quality teaching, utilizing formative assessment and collaborative learning. Are you genuinely curious about students' potential and motivations? What we offer you

You will be part of the school's student health team along with the principal, counselor, school nurse, and study and career counselor. We work on preventive and promotional activities for students' goal achievement and health. The role includes conducting assessments, investigations, and action plans. You will also support smaller student groups. You will have significant freedom to shape your tasks.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual interested in working with colleagues to create the best conditions for relationship building and goal achievement with our students. You must have the ability to recognize people's different talents, collaborate effectively, initiate, inspire, encourage, and lead colleagues in a pedagogical dialogue and development. You work based on evidence and stay up-to-date with new findings and research. You are accustomed to a solution-focused approach and value differences in your teaching.

You have a special education degree or are in the process of obtaining one soon. Equivalent education such as a special education teacher qualification is also accepted. You are a licensed teacher.
