    Arlo Europe, part of Verisure, is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Northern Europe Sales & Marketing Coordinator. The role, based in Stockholm, Sweden, will report directly into the Head of Marketing based in London, UK and will work closely with the local sales teams. The role will be part of a growing and talented North cluster structure while collaborating strongly with our teams in Europe.

    The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will play a critical role that will contribute on shaping the function in Northern Europe. The role will be expected to impact quickly and develop as the business grows.

    Strategic context and Value proposition

    Verisure is the leading provider of monitored security solutions in Europe. In 2019, we formed a strategic partnership with Arlo, a world leader in connected cameras. Verisure acquired all rights to Arlo's European business, in particular, the exclusive distribution rights for Arlo branded camera products for all sales channels in Europe, including e-commerce and retail. Additionally, Verisure is entering into a supply agreement with Arlo whereby we get access to the full portfolio and past and future innovation stream of Arlo camera products to sell through the Verisure direct or partner channels across all our countries.

    Today, Verisure does not focus on e-commerce and retail channels. Instead, we drive our core go to market channels: direct field sales, alliances and telesales. The acquisition of Arlo Europe now gives us a strong leadership position in these two emerging and important channels for our business. This transaction has strategic importance. Camera led subscription services building on surveillance versus professionally monitored security are now creating attractive incremental growth opportunities.

    Arlo Europe is present in 49+ Countries and its expansion is continuing rapidly.

    Responsibilities

    The Northern Europe Sales and Marketing Coordinator will be the spider in the web coordinating between Arlo and our customers in the Nordics and UK region. The marketing activities will be mainly digital, but also includes in store activities and retailer trainings plus other types of events.

    Organizational Relationships: You will work closely with both the Sales teams and the central marketing team making sure our customers have the best in class content for all our products to drive sales in all applicable channels. Other external contacts will be supporting our PR bureau and other relevant media partners for our Northern Europe footprint. Internally you will help to coordinate marketing initiatives and share best practice with our central marketing team.

    Specific Responsibilities:

  • Drive Market share leadership in the Smart Home Security Landscape in Nordics and UK
  • Support the Marketing Manager on demand generation activities, 360° Marketing Campaigns with strategic partners and NPI launch campaigns to achieve business targets
  • Engage with local agencies on PR, Social Media & Influence topics to maximize the Reach & Engagements towards our media partners & communities.
  • Co-lead, together with sales, the roll out of golden store online and offline with focus on ensuring perfect execution
  • Own ratings & reviews across retailers
  • Attend customer meetings with the sales team
  • Drive opportunities for and support on comarketing activities with Verisure
  • Provide reseller product trainings / staff trainings together with sales and support the development of our field sales force
  • Coordinate reseller events + smaller local store events
  • Provide local translations for marketing materials to better fit the Nordic market
  • Develop or adapt sales & marketing tools to local needs. This would include some product introduction materials, data sheets, POS and landing pages etc
  • Track marketing campaign performance ROI and provide recommendations for how to optimize campaigns in the future
  • Support the Marketing Manager on budget management
  • Support the Marketing Manager on the Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Reporting to the Regional lead.

    Permanent hire to be based in Solna, Stockholm, Sweden (Hybrid).

    Reports and organization structure

    Direct reporting line into the Northern Europe Marketing Manager based in Sweden. During maternity cover reporting directly to Head of Marketing based in the UK.

    Experience and Qualifications

    Competencies

  • 2-3 Years Marketing & Sales experience with Consumer-Centric Electronics Brands or FMCG
  • Commercially savvy – data driven, proven interest in commercial sales fundamentals including trade terms and incentives.
  • Passion for technology and Smart Home devices
  • Passion for consumer experience and app interaction
  • Flexible and agile
  • Entrepreneurial and able to work independently
  • Ability to travel 10-25%
  • Fluency in English and Swedish. Ideally proficient in another European language (German, French, Spanish, Italian Nordic language)
