    Job description

    Amaris Consulting is looking for a Model based Developer to join our team in Sweden.

    As a Model based Developer, you will analyze requirements, design innovative concepts, and ensure adherence to industry standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Analyze and review stakeholder and system requirements to ensure clarity and completeness.
    • Design conceptual solutions based on input requirements, considering factors such as functionality, performance, and safety.
    • Develop application software components for traction inverters, adhering to software standards such as ASPICE and ISO26262.
    • Conduct testing of solutions at various levels, from unit testing to system integration, to ensure reliability and functionality.
    • Provide support for the integration of software components and solutions into larger systems.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools used in software development.

    Profile Requirements:

    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in model-based development with MATLAB/Simulink .
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience in the development of traction inverter systems, including both inverters and e-machines.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and customization tasks.
    • Familiarity with analysis and testing tools such as Simulink Test and Test Viewer.
    • Understanding of software development processes (e.g., GIT) and automotive development processes (e.g., V-Model, ASPICE).
    • Knowledge of torque estimation, torque arbitration and monitoring, and safe states (FW/ASC) is a plus.
    • Knowledge and experience in AUTOSAR is advantageous.
    • Ability to work independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take on responsibilities.
    • Strong communication and team-working skills.
    • Proficiency in English for both spoken and written communication.
