    Role Description

    As System Developer you will be a part of an agile development team that delivers new features, upgrades and customizations to the "AARO platform". This platform is an adaptable system utilized by 30% of the groups listed on the OMX Large- and Mid-cap list.

    You, together with your team will take ownership of the development process and play a vital role in realizing the technical vision. You will analyze requirements, design and develop new features as well as fixing bugs and improving the current code base.

    The tech stack consists out of Java, Wildfly/Jboss, MS SQL, GWT, React, Bootstrap, TypeScript, Scala, Azure (cloud hosting) and Python. They also use tools such as Jira, Git and Jenkins. Your contribution and insights will impact future choices of technology and tools.

    The placement is situated in one of AARO's offices, either in Stockholm, Malmö, or Gothenburg.

    We welcome applications from both Senior Backend Developers with expertise in Java, and highly driven junior candidates aspiring to enhance their skills in complex system development. Previous experience of implementing new technologies and knowledge of architectural concepts will be considered a significant advantage.

    In terms of personality, we are seeking individuals with outstanding problem-solving abilities who find satisfaction in analyzing and resolving complex issues, ranging from code-related challenges to interpreting industry-relevant legislation. Collaboration is a highly valued, and we appreciate candidates who enjoy working with others, exploring innovative technologies, and sharing their discoveries. Additionally, effective communication skills, both in writing and verbally in English, are essential attributes.
