    General Information

    We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Test Team, focusing on the verification of ADAS/AD functionalities at the system design level. The ideal candidate will work within frameworks influenced by automotive safety standards and contribute significantly to ensuring our systems meet high-quality benchmarks.

    Role Description and Responsibilities

    This position involves a range of responsibilities from defining test specifications to optimizing test procedures.

    Priority
    - Develop test cases in Python as part of the Clients CI/CD chain. - Plan and execute tests based on the agreed specifications on Hardware in Loop (HIL) or Software in Loop (SIL) setups.

    Standard
    - Use the clients reporting environment for all reports, including the creation of dashboards for key performance indicators (KPIs). - Assist development teams in root cause analysis, including log file analysis.

    Other Responsibilities: - Continuously improve the test flow by adjusting the frequency of tests.
    - Manage the Team Backlog efficiently, aligning with Company and ART principles and prioritization strategies.
    - Collaborate with System Design Engineers to establish test specifications ensuring compliance with system requirements.
    - Outline preconditions and criteria for testing.

    Expected Output and Stakeholders

    Test Specifications, Test Cases, and Dashboards for System Design Engineers and Product Owners.
    - Test Reports for System Design Engineers and Team Product Owners.
    - Status & Plans for the System & Features ART Leadership Team.

    Required

    Embedded Software Verification Experience
    - Capable of planning and performing tests at various verification levels (Rig, HIL, SIL).
    - Experience in the Active Safety domain is a plus.
    - Fault handling experience is beneficial.

    Tools & Environments
    Mandatory: Proficient in Python and C++.
    Preferred: Basic knowledge of SystemWeaver, Yaml, Pandas, and Bazel.
    Meritorious: Familiarity with Volvo Cars software environment (VBF, HIL, etc.), Linux, Bash, Git/Gerrit.

    Proactive, self-managed individual.
    Proficient in problem-solving and root cause analysis.
    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
