- Identify technical requirements and foster innovation in the realm of sustainable energy development
- Develop and implement solutions for technical hurdles in R&D initiatives
- Perform laboratory experiments, analyze data, and enhance/optimize processes to showcase the viability of new concepts
- Take charge of R&D projects or work-packages with a methodical approach, goal-oriented tactics, and efficient leadership
- Generate ideas and suggestions for R&D undertakings focusing on energy systems
- Engage in active communication with team members, clients, suppliers, and collaborative partners from other companies and universities
- Provide outcomes in the form of software, hardware, technical reports, patent filings, scientific publications, and presentations
- Establish a network within the organization and proactively share your insights and expertise
- You hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power electronics or an equivalent master's degree accompanied by relevant work experience
- Proficiency in PE converter/controller design and hardware implementation
- Familiarity with multiple technical disciplines in specific areas such as energy storage and machine learning is advantageous
- Prior experience in leading R&D projects is considered a plus
- You possess a curious mindset, adapt easily to new challenges, and exhibit exceptional communication skills with a collaborative approach
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
