    The Service Operations Leader (SOL) Role

    The Service Operations Leader (SOL) is responsible for ensuring optimal customer engagement within the local Lifecycle Solutions & Services (LSS) team and broader Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) team. This role involves overseeing timely contract renewals and driving growth in service contracts. The key to success lies in consistent customer communication, efficient delivery coordination, and ensuring service contract execution aligns with Honeywell and customer health, safety, and environmental standards, following LSS Global Service Methodologies (GSM).


    • Customer Engagement:
      • Understand customer needs and identify growth opportunities.
      • Develop a deep understanding of assigned customers' business drivers and historical challenges.
      • Create and implement a prioritized customer engagement plan (MOS).
      • Build strong trust relationships with key contacts and expand the customer network.
      • Present service contract deliverables reports to customers and Honeywell leadership when necessary.
    • Renewal & Growth:
      • Identify Honeywell solutions based on customer insights.
      • Support white space analysis for new opportunities and drive business growth in LSS.
      • Facilitate the contract renewal process and offer sales support for new accounts or expanded service scopes.
      • Identify and communicate cross-SBU/One Honeywell opportunities.
    • Operational Support:
      • Promote Honeywell's safety culture and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
      • Utilize SFDC tools for efficient order to invoice management.
      • Maintain the financial health of agreements and ensure prompt invoicing.
      • Manage Net Promoter Score and customer satisfaction surveys.
      • Ensure adherence to global quality processes and drive continuous improvements.
      • Establish a robust network across local and global HPS business teams.
      • Ensure the integrity of the Service Management System and ERP system.
      • Collaborate with the Back Office to review and rectify customer asset, account team, and contract information.
      • Oversee the preparation and ongoing maintenance of customer site portals.
      • Contribute to accurate forecasting for all financial aspects of LSS contracts.
    • Work Force Planning:
      • Provide SIOP labor planning aligned with backlog and front log.
    • Training and Development:
      • Offer feedback on individual employees to enhance the HPD process.
      • Support the implementation of processes, tools, and initiatives.
    • Geographic Scope & Travel Requirements:
      • Locally based role with travel within the territory, exceeding 30% for customer meetings.


      Recognized Industrial Automation & Control technical training or equivalent experience.

      Preferred Work Experience:
      - 10 years of experience in the process automation industry
      - 5 years of experience supporting a Services organization with exposure to periodic customer contracts.

      Technical Skills & Knowledge:
      - Familiarity with Honeywell HPS solutions or similar industry solutions.
      - Proficiency in sales, negotiation, Excel, and contract management.
      - Valid driving license.

      Required Behavioral Competencies:

      - Effective communication skills and proven success in team settings.
      - Track record of effectiveness in a highly matrixed organization.
      - Capacity to influence and drive change across functions and business groups.
      - Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
      - Skill in motivating teams to excel.
      - Capability to handle varied workloads and shifting priorities.

      Language Requirements:
      Fluent in Swedish and English.

      Locally based role with travel requirements within the territory exceeding 30%.
