About the role

As a Large Ticket Credit Manager in DLL Nordics, you will be responsible for a team consisting of credit underwriters. Your role is to work operationally as well as manage and support the team in large ticket credit decisions, commercial finance structures and challenges that the function is facing. You will be involved in the daily business to support and coach the team members. In addition, you will also work with the strategic overview of how Credit can optimize its function and how to deliver better commercial results in corporation with Sales, Operations- and the Risk departments. As a leader, your role involves close and flexible leadership with structured one-to-one meetings and follow ups. You will report to the local Head of AML, Credit and Collections. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Manage, optimize, and ensure optimal credit underwriting

• Increase quality in credit underwriting

• To lead and coach the credit team

• Continuously review larger accounts, jointly set up strategies with the Risk department and report on these cases,

• Create a risk appetite and strategy aligned with the DLL Group risk strategy and drive the implementation and execution hereof. As well as implement other corporate processes and procedures and deliver corporate reporting towards the DLL Risk group

• Monitor the performance of the credit team and improve processes and work closely together with the Sales Managers, Operations Managers and Risk managers in the office to ensure operational excellence

Key responsibilities

We expect that you have at least 5 years of experience working as a credit underwriter/analyst and preferably experience from a leader position. We expect that you have worked in a Credit organization before within finance industry. You have a high capacity to adapt to different situations and switch between operational and strategic tasks. You have a commercial mindset and an ability to create improvements and developments in the work process. This while being able to weigh DLL risk against commercial interests.

Details are important for you, and you have the skill to change and adapt from small to larger tickets with different detail focus. You possess properties like drive, trust, responsibility, compassion, and structure. It is a requirement that you have a universal degree within economics/finance or similarly.

• Understanding of the Nordic cultures and fluent in English

• Experience from similar service organization is preferred as well as knowledge from the leasing or similar related industries.
