Are you interested in joining a cutting edge Engineering team who are at the forefront of designing and developing the next generation of optical measuring equipment across a range of industries.

What This Role Is:

As one of our Senior Analog Electronic Engineers, you'll work in a team of twelve Electronic Engineers who are creating optical measuring equipment that will help shape the future of surveying, construction and civil engineering. You will work in cross-functional project teams that will create and optimise total stations, scanning total stations as well as other optical equipment. Our products are market leading and have a reputation of quality, productivity and reliability.

At our Trimble R&D facility in Danderyd, you will find Engineers and other specialists working on a range of cutting edge technology across multiple core disciplines including electronics, mechanics and optics FW/SW. This is your opportunity to work in a Centre of Engineering Excellence alongside over a 100 Engineers and Compliance professionals, who are passionate about creating the best products in the market; using the latest materials and construction techniques that produce rugged, versatile and accurate equipment.

To succeed in this role, you should have a genuine technical interest and like to work in teams.

What You Will Do:

• Design, develop and verify embedded electronics for our optical total stations
• Work together with Mechanics, Optics and FW/SW developers in cross functional projects and pre-studies
• Advanced electronics/mechanics/optics problem-solving and troubleshooting
• Contribute to technology roadmap decisions
• Define manufacturing function tests and tools
• Help and mentor young engineers to develop their skills

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

• Applicable Bachelors or Masters degree
• Experience in the field of analog electronics design
• Experience with sensor implementation and lasers
• Experience with Spice or similar tools
• Practical experience in verifying and troubleshooting electronics
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills
• You express yourself well in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Other relevant skills:

• Experience with signal integrity/power integrity
• Experience with EMC (Electromagnetic compatibility)
• Experience with simulation, design, and test
• Experience with embedded systems
• Experience with Altium is a merit
