- Design and Optimization : Develop and optimize mechanical systems within manufacturing plants. This includes layout design, equipment selection, and process improvement.
- Conceptualization : Work closely with R&D teams to conceptualize new products or enhancements.
- Prototyping : Create detailed designs using latest 3D CAD softwares.
- Materials Selection : Evaluate materials for durability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact.
- Innovation : Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design methodologies.
- Cross-Functional Teams : Collaborate with process-, electrical engineers, software developers, and other specialists to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly.
- Client Interaction : Understand client requirements and translate them into practical designs and solutions.
- Project Management : Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Regulatory Standards : Ensure compliance with national and international standards (e.g., ISO, safety regulations etc.).
- Environmental Considerations : Design products with sustainability and environmental impact in mind.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related fields.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar).
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication in English and Swedish.
- Self-motivated and cooperative team player.
- Experience in plant layout, process optimization, and/or product design.
- Swedish driving licence type B is required.
