The role

Were looking for a Senior Security Operations Developer to manage and implement bestinclass web cybersecurity to protect our platform at all times.

To thrive in this role you enjoythe technical details working with engineering to evaluate and configure new observability and monitoring systems. As well as researching and adopting new security measures ideating new scenarios for incident response dryruns and tabletop exercises. This is a handson role where you will work both individually andbe part of a wider community with whom you will collaborate closely. Viaplay is in the forefront of the streaming industry offering both VOD and Live Sports content which means that the stakes are constantly high since customers count on a stable and uninterrupted viewing experience. Key Responsibilities:

Owning and evangelizing web cybersecurity initiatives as part of TechnicalOperations
Ownership of the edge security domain including Web Application Firewalls automatic mitigation thirdparty integrations monitoringanddata processing pipelines
Security Operations including monitoring detecting analyzing and responding to web security events
Coordinating with Technical Operations and OnCall agents daytoday including developing runbooks dashboards and mitigation strategies
Guide the automation of security operations incident response and compliance monitoring
Collaborate with product engineering to help secure their web applications and APIs against web security threats
Forensic analysis of web traffic both in support of account fraud and antipiracy initiatives
Fullstack development of security tooling in support of Technical andSecurity Operations

What were looking for

Extensive experience of Security Operations and DevOps
Bachelors degree in computer science Cybersecurity or a related field or equivalent experience with at least 10 years in IT security or related roles
Relevant certifications are highly regarded
Deep knowledge of security vulnerabilities in web and mobile platforms and proficiency with advanced security tools for detection and remediation
Experience with implementing security frameworks such as OWASP NIST PCIDSS and MITRE
Experience with threat modelling and web application testing tools
Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and developing mitigation strategies
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and leading security initiatives
Experience with Splunk Cloud and Observability Suite (SignalFX)
Experienced with AWS cloud services and security solutions including AWS WAFv2
Experience with developing CI/CD pipelines preferably GitHub Actions
Experienced fullstack application development
Programming experience in Golang JavaScript and Python
Developing infrastructureascode using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform
