Are you a skilled specialist doctor in family medicine from EU/EES looking to embark on a fulfilling career adventure in Sweden? Look no further than Kalmar County Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of southern Sweden, Kalmar offers a unique blend of natural beauty, rich history, and vibrant culture. As one of the leading healthcare providers in the region, Region Kalmar County is seeking a dedicated and passionate general practitioner to join one of our health care centres in the city of Kalmar, Norrliden Health centre.

As a specialist in family medicine, you will manage your own patient list, with approximately 1000 patients per full-time position. You will have direct communication with your patients via telephone and will schedule appointments directly into your calendar, granting you significant flexibility to make individual assessments of patient care needs.

Norrliden Health Center is serving approximately 6000 registered patients, located in the northern part of Kalmar city. We have a team of 4 specialists, 2 residents, and a few medical interns. We foster close collaboration among all healthcare professionals, including nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and psychologists. Supervising educational physicians is an integral part of our approach. We actively strive to ensure our staff maintains a healthy work-life balance.

Your license as a doctor needs to be recognized by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare.
