THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Algorithm Engineer. You will join the Tracking Core team, which is responsible for developing our ground-breaking golf ball tracking software. As an Algorithm Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing algorithms, enabling our Toptracer technology for more golfers around the world.

In addition to your expertise in algorithm development, you should also possess strong software engineering skills to ensure seamless integration of algorithms into our various product offerings.

Working in TrackingCore offers a unique and dynamic experience that goes beyond conventional coding. The work involves diving into diverse fields such as computer science, physics modulation, image processing, and algorithms and then applying this knowledge creatively to solve complex problems. Unlike scenarios where solutions may be available online, the challenges encountered here often lack clear solutions from the outset, requiring innovative problem-solving skills and teamwork.

POSSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and implement algorithms for our software applications.
• Collaborate in cross-functional initiatives to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Conduct research and stay updated on the latest algorithms and techniques in the industry.
• Analyze and optimize algorithm performance to ensure efficiency and scalability.
• Debug and troubleshoot algorithm-related issues in cross-team collaborations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior algorithm and software engineers.
• Be a part of a dynamic team of experienced algorithm and software engineers developing new and exciting technology for thousands of golf ranges, Topgolf Venues and new business opportunities.

WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience in algorithm development and optimization.
  
• Strong proficiency in software engineering principles and practices.
  
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
  
• A solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
• Effective ways to communicate and strong collaboration skills.

It's also great if you have:

• Worked with real-time object detection and tracking.
  
• Experience with image or video processing.
  
• Experience with computer vision (stereo geometry).
  
• Experience working with AWS.
  
• Experience with machine learning.
