NOBA Bank is growing, and we are now expanding our Infrastructure Team with a Cloud Engineer who will play a key role in our technical transformation journey. Join us in revolutionizing the way banking is done as we transition from traditional on-prem systems to cutting-edge cloud solutions .

About the role:

In the role as Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, automating, and optimizing our cloud service platform. In this green field, you will work in a cross-functional and agile environment where you, together with your teammates will take on diverse tasks from development to architecture, system integration and testing in the cloud. By leveraging your knowledge and skills, your role will also include upskilling the team by providing training and guidance on Azure best practices.

We apply a hybrid working model because we understand that flexibility is important for your productivity. The team has two common days in the office (Mondays & Tuesdays), where we come together to collaborate, connect, exchange ideas, or simply just have a fika together

Main tasks:

Infrastructure Setup: Provisioning and configuring Azure infrastructure components to meet application requirements.
Architecture Design : Collaborating with architects and developers to design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective Azure solutions.
Deployment Automation : Implementing automation scripts and tools for seamless resource deployment using Biceps and Azure DevOps.
Security Implementation: Ensuring robust security measures to protect Azure resources and data.
Monitoring and Optimization : Setting up monitoring systems to enhance performance, availability, and usage of Azure resources.
Compliance and Governance: Enforcing regulatory compliance and internal policies within Azure environments.

We are looking for you who have:

Experience in working with Azure cloud infrastructure
Hands on experience in infrastructure as code (Bicep) deployed from Azure DevOps
Hands on experience with Azure networking
Hands on experience with Azure monitoring
Fluency in both spoken and written English.

Experience in any of below is considered a plus:

Experience in Azure PaaS services such as Azure Container Apps, Azure SQL, Databricks, Azure Virtual Desktop
Experience in migrating from on-prem to cloud
Relevant Azure Certifications.
