    teenage engineering develops highly acclaimed products for people who love sound, music and design. as a senior software developer at teenage engineering, you will have the software lead role in product development projects, being responsible for delivering the software side of the final product.

    role & required skills

    you will be tasked with steering the software development efforts, ensuring the successful delivery of the software components of our final products. your expertise will guide the software team through the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept to release, guaranteeing that our software meets the high standards of quality, functionality and user experience that our brand is known for.

    to succeed in this role, we believe that you have:

    • a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
    • approx. 5 years experience of software and/or hardware projects, with projects that have been launched successfully.
    • expert knowledge in C/C++.
    • comprehensive knowledge in at least one additional language such as python, C#, javascript.
    • expert problem solving skills.

    ideally, you also have good experience in:

    • leading projects or small teams.
    • working with embedded software.
    • high-performing runtime systems.
    • optimizing time sensitive code.
    • reading and writing assembler code.
    • multi-processor architecture.
    • real-time audio signal processing.

    the position is full-time, located at our hq in stockholm and will report to the head of development. as this position is located in stockholm, a swedish work permit is required to apply.
