The Biotechnology Group IP Paralegal role involves:

• Providing comprehensive support to IP Counsel(s) for all IP matters such as patents, designs, trademarks, and copyrights.

• Preparing and processing patent/design, trademark, and copyright documents for various jurisdictions, overseeing docketing requirements within Danaher's IP management tool.

• Coordinating with external counsel for international filings and managing IP counsel dockets, including monitoring deadlines.

• Assisting in integrating or divesting IP assets from M&A activities and participating in process development and project management initiatives.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.

• Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) and preferably Paralegal certification.

• Proficiency in utilizing IP docketing tools like IP Folio and Foundation IP, plus a deep understanding of patent and trademark law practices.

• Desirable skills include being data-driven, detail-oriented, with strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to change, and implement continuous improvement practices to achieve results.

Preferred locations for this role are close to Uppsala, Sweden or within the UK. Interviews and selection will be ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline of April 28, 2024.
