    You will be part of Business Control Technical Operations, a team of four, including two business controllers, one business controller/finance controller and one inventory accountant. The primary responsibility is to provide financial support to the Tech Ops organization, with a focus on manufacturing.
    As a Tech Ops Controller you play a pivotal role in ensuring accuracy and quality in manufacturing and distribution related accounting and financial reporting, driving efforts to simplify, standardize, and harmonize related processes.

    Job Description



    The key responsibilities for the Business Controller/Financial Controller role include:

    • Provide financial support to Business controllers and managers within Technical Operations.
    • Participate in month-end closings and consolidations to ensure accurate accruals, inventory values, and variances.
    • Evaluate standard product costs (SPC) and update systems for accurate cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory accounting.
    • Prepare, analyze, and report the current month's financial results to Business control management on time.
    • Monitor financial performance, deliver insightful analyses, and lead financial processes for assigned teams, products or projects.

    Qualifications

    • Experienced financial controller with financial controlling or accounting background.
    • Experience from manufacturing operations and finance work is considered highly valuable, as well as experience from the pharmaceutical industry
    • Thorough understanding of accounting principles such as accruals, valuation, inventory and reporting
    • Strong communication skills in English and Swedish, oral and written
    • Strong Excel skills
    • A structured and analytical approach to work
    • Ability to work independently and take ownership of own areas and tasks
    • Strong team player with ability to interact with many people across the company and functions
    • Interest in and ability to coach non-finance colleagues in financial processes and systems
    • Able to work well under pressure and manage tight deadlines
    • IFS experience is valued
