    The position

    As the Supply Chain Manager at Calliditas, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the supply chains of the launched and upcoming products. Your primary objective will be to ensure the availability of products engaging in tasks such as supply and demand planning, forecasting to suppliers, purchase order management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support development projects.

    You will report directly to the Supply Chain Director and be a part of the Technical Operations Team. The position will be placed at Calliditas headquarter in central Stockholm.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operationally coordinate product supply to meet customer demand and agreed stock levels.
    • Process customer orders, generate purchase orders to suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements.
    • Conduct tactical and operational product demand planning, considering launch, commercial supply, clinical studies, and projects.
    • Act as the primary point of contact with suppliers/customers regarding demand, ensuring seamless day-to-day delivery plans.
    • Lead meetings with suppliers on ongoing supply and supply performance.
    • Ensure accurate maintenance of systems master data and report key performance indicators.
    • Responsible for setting up, developing and maintaining central planning template
    • Represent supply chain in IT projects, such as ERP system updates and improvements.
    • Contribute to SOX compliance, including stock audits, reconciliations, and account management controls.
    • Identify areas of improvement / continuous improvement proposals and execution

    • Degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Sciences, or Engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.
    • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a Supply Chain Environment (Manufacturing, Planning).
    • A solid understanding and documented experience with ERP systems (D365 or AX Dynamics), encompassing general master data management and report knowledge. Prior experience in managing changes, drafting requirements descriptions, and documenting ERP processes and working instructions is a distinct advantage.
    • Meritorious to have knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, GMP, regulatory requirements and QA/QC
    • Proven skills in planning and operational purchasing, demonstrating your ability to strategically coordinate and execute supply chain functions.
    • Excellent communication and team-working skills, essential for effective collaboration within our dynamic cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Globally and culturally aware, with an understanding of the nuances that come with operating in diverse international environments.
    • Preferred production experience, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated sectors.
    • Ability to rapidly adapt to a constantly changing environment, reflecting your agility and resilience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swedish, facilitating seamless communication within our multicultural team.

    About Calliditas

    Calliditas is a commercial stage biopharmaceutical company focused on identifying, developing and commercializing novel treatments in orphan indications, with an initial focus on renal and hepatic diseases with significant unmet medical needs.

    Calliditas' lead product, developed under the name Nefecon, has been granted approval by the FDA under the trade name TARPEYO, conditional marketing authorization by the European Commission under the trade name KINPEYGO and by China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) Nefecon.
