Studie och yrkesvägledare, IES Sigtuna

Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) startade för 30 år sedan och har utvecklats till en av Sveriges största skolorganisationer med 46 grundskolor, 3500 medarbetare och elever. IES står för tvåspråkig utbildning, med upp till hälften av undervisningen på engelska, höga förväntningar på undervisning och lärande, samt ordning och trygghet i skolan och på lektionerna.

IES Sigtuna är friskola för elever i årskurs F–9 med runt 600 elever och ca 65 medarbetare. Vi tror på vår metod, the IES Ethos, att med tydligt fokus på att behärska det engelska språket, studiero, trygghet och respekt bygga en positiv skolmiljö som är tillåtande och inkluderande – och som ger bra skolresultat.

Vi söker nu en studie- och yrkesvägledare. Tjänsten är på 50%, vid heltidstjänst kan uppdraget SYV kombineras med arbete i våra IES i Upplands Väsby. Tjänsten är med start så snart som möjligt eller i augusti 2024. Tillsvidareanställning med sex månaders provanställning.

Vem är du?

Du är en engagerad person med mycket driv. Du är en förebild för eleverna vid skolan, och tydlig och trygg i din roll som studie- och yrkesvägledare. Du bryr dig om eleverna, deras mål, och stöttar dem med en coachande approach. Som person är du kreativ och öppen för nya idéer och synpunkter. Du är strukturerad, lojal, mottaglig och ansvarstagande.

Arbetsbeskrivning

I rollen som studie- och yrkesvägledare i grundskolan är ditt övergripande uppdrag att förbereda för elevernas framtida yrkes- och studieval och som följd kommer du arbeta med individuell vägledning. Med att delge information till elever och vårdnadshavare om olika val inom grundskolan som ligger till grund för framtida studie- och yrkesval. Du har vägledningssamtal inför gymnasievalet och samordnar PRAO för årskurs 8.

Du arbetar även i skolans elevhälsoteam, med särskilt fokus på att motivera och vägleda eleverna inför framtida studier och yrkesval, samt är ett stöd till personal då det gäller studie- och yrkesvägledande insatser gällande hela skolans ansvar.

Kvalifikationer

Vi söker dig som har en högskoleexamen som studie- och yrkesvägledare . Du ska ha goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska i tal och skrift, och vara trygg med att använda IT i det dagliga arbetet. Du har god förmåga att planera och organisera ditt arbete. För att lyckas i rollen behöver du vara en förtroendeingivande person som har lätt för att skapa relationer.

Vi kommer att lägga stor vikt vid personliga egenskaper.
