About the role

In your role as Head of Business Control you will be responsible for all elements of controlling for MilDef Sweden and be an integral part of the management team in this company. In your team you have two members that direct reports to You. The role is highly operational and would therefore be an ideal move for a person who is passionate about controlling and has a genuine business interest. This role reports to the MD of MilDef Sweden and also has a dotted line to the MilDef Group CFO.

The position is based in Stockholm, preferably in Rosersberg and frequent visits to the office in Solna will also be required.

Key responsibilities

• Directly responsible for project controlling and follow-up in all project execution in the company. You will also be the one in charge of making the Percentage of Completion calculation each month and cooperating with the Project department to ensure correct and timely reporting.

• Responsible for all monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting including forecasts and budgets. The Business Controller is the main driver for the reporting process. However it is conducted in close cooperation with the Group Shared Service Center in Helsingborg.

• Continuously review all finance related processes, initiate and implement improvements together with Shared Service Center, always with a clear business focus.

• Participate and independently give feedback to the company's management team, and work closely with the MD.

• Develop and analyse forecasts, KPI 's and to develop the business towards achieving established targets together with the rest of the management team.

• Responsibility for both management and improvement of working capital and operational cash flow in the company.

Qualifications

The successful candidate has a university degree and several year's experience in a Business controlling role from a production and/or project environment. You have previously worked with project controlling and are familiar with the accounting of Percentage of Completion.

You are a highly analytical and structured person with excellent detail orientation and great Excel skills. A genuine business interest is key and experience of communicating and cooperating with project managers and installation staff is meriting. Experience of working with a modern ERP system is highly relevant and experience in reporting is an advantage. For this position fluent spoken and written Swedish and English is needed.
