    About Us

Are you a natural leader with a passion for driving organizational excellence? Are you exited about leveraging advanced technology to contribute to environmental progress?

Join us in shaping the future of powertrain control systems and making a positive impact on the world

Our powertrain control systems play a pivotal role in the functionality, performance, and environmental footprint of our products. As part of the Engine System Regulations group, we are tasked with setting requirements and central functionalities for diagnostics and fault management within engine and aftertreatment control systems. This includes ensuring compliance with diagnostic requirements and simplifying troubleshooting processes for our service organization. Our work in diagnostics, particularly OBD (On Board Diagnostics) spans across various functions and systems, impacting all engine projects, whether diesel, renewable fuels, or hybridization.

With an expanding internal customer base from the Traton group, coupled with market expansion and the challenge of certifying our products in the USA, we seek a motivated and organized individual to lead our team. As the Competence Group Leader for OBD, you will coordinate deliveries, foster cross-functional collaboration and serve as a key liaison with our customers.

    Your Role

Act as the primary point of contact for our customers, both internal and external, regarding OBD development and certification-related activities. Lead group scrum-planning sessions to drive efficient project execution. Constantly strive for process and tool improvements in issue management, requirements, and specifications. You will collaborate closely with colleagues within the group, providing opportunities to enhance your skills across various career paths. Our group thrives on cohesion, diversity, and a shared enthusiasm for professional and personal development.

    Your Profile
    • A degree in engineering or equivalent documented education/experience in embedded systems, certification, and/or leadership.
    • Organized, quality-conscious, and adapt at shouldering responsibility.
    • As a colleague, you are positive with strong communication skills.
    • As a leader, you excel in engaging people in plans and change management.
    • Experience or knowledge in engine technology, diagnostics, Lean development, legal requirements, OBD standards, certification, issue management, or project management is advantageous.
    • Proficient in verbal and written English; knowledge of Swedish or a willingness to learn is a plus.
    We offer

An engaging and challenging role where innovation is encouraged. Our corporate culture values openness, diversity, and respect for the individual. We invest in our employees' training and skill development to foster growth opportunities.

As a Scania employee, you'll enjoy benefits such as employee car options, performance bonus, flexible working hours, subsidized lunch, and more. For those residing in Stockholm, we provide direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje with Scania Jobexpress.
