Join Aurobay on their journey to net zero
Aurobay is looking for Calibration Engineers to the department Engine Controls & Diagnostic.
Their responsibility is to secure that the engine fullfils the emission legislation, by developing and calibrating the own inhouse software models. The team consist of calibration engineers and function developers. They calibrate start and catalyst heating, emission control and purge control and deliver engine software to combustion engines in both mild hybrid and hybrid applications.
They are from an early stage involved in the development of new powertrain concepts and its software with the responsibility for the vehicle emissions. They develop solutions that both meet legal requirements and give the customer an outstanding product.
Early in the projects they are collecting data in their engine test-rigs, to calibrate sw-models. Validation and later, final verification are always performed in cars or what the application is suited for. The job variety is huge and the need for further development is always there which provides an interesting research atmosphere.
What you'll do
You will work in a mixed team with engineers and your main tasks will be to calibrate emission related functions, in early stage or late stage depending on the team you will belong to.
They are doing a large amount of our work in different engine test cells located in Aurobays laboratory (Torslanda), but also in vehicles on site and during expeditions to find extreme climates and altitudes. These trips are approximately 2 times every half year.
In your dayly work you will use programs like Matlab/Simulink for modelling, and data processing for best results.

Talent Program
This position is a part of Hubbau's talent program and is a collaboration between Hubbau and Aurobay. During the 12 months of the talent program, you will be employed by Hubbau and work as a consultant in your specific role at Aurobay. The ambition is for your employment to smoothly transition to a permanent position at Aurobay thereafter. The goal is to provide you with an even more rewarding first year that sets you up for success at Aurobay and in your future career. The talent program offers training sessions from specialists within Vinngroup to build up your knowledge base.

The program commences on August 27, 2024.
