Feedstock Manager - Stockholm, Sverige - Syre

Textile waste is a growing global challenge. Syre's mission is to decarbonize and dewaste textiles, starting with the world's biggest fiber, polyester. By implementing true textile-to-textile recycling at hyperscale, we want to drive the transition from a linear to a circular value chain by putting textile waste to use, over and over again.

Then keep on reading, because Syre is now looking for a Feedstock Manager - Europe This pivotal person will drive the relationships with European supply partners and work closely with the Feedstock Team in securing discarded textile volumes to be used for recycling.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• As part of the global Feedstock team, be responsible for supply partnerships across Europe
• Establish trust-based relationships with targeted supply partners on the ground to develop the feedstock operations over time
• Build, negotiate and execute partnerships together with identified target players, with support from the Feedstock team
• Use insights from the market to provide proposals on how to capture textile waste feedstock volumes for the short and long-term
• Identify and build the required capabilities and infrastructure to be a relevant partner to Syre's supply partners
• Set up and lead the required on-the-ground operations to manage scale-up and handling of contracted volumes over time

We would prefer if you

• Have a proven ability to build trust-based relationships with partners, including regular visits to potential supply partner sites, and internal stakeholders
• Thrive to collaborate with different people and can also work very independently and drive own work
• Are impact-oriented with a demonstrated drive to get things done, deliver results, and optimize for speed
• Have demonstrated experience with handling unknowns and find smart solutions in an ambiguous environment
• Have high ambitions and a constant drive to find solutions to challenges
• Are experienced in drafting and negotiating B2B contractual agreements
• Have a strong combination of strategic and operational capabilities
• Have an understanding of textile value-chain dynamics and/or waste management industry and good network to relevant players in target countries
• Are fluent in English both orally and in writing (professional English required)

You will be reporting into our Senior Director Feedstock and preferably be located in Stockholm, Sweden will regular travel within Europe.
