What we are looking for

Profoto is seeking an Electronics Manager to join the R&D department. We are developing premium and high-end products, maintaining technical leadership in our top-end market segment. We seek a dedicated manager who assumes full responsibility for the team's deliveries, competence, and demonstrates a strong ambition to grow the team.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, nurture, and develop the team as well as individual competencies
• Ensure the quality of deliveries and improve work processes
• Stay updated on and evaluate relevant trends in technology, processes, working methods, and tools
• Collaborate cross-functionally with relevant departments to achieve company targets
• Plan and control the department's costs in alignment with the Profoto process

The work is conducted in our modern and welcoming office situated in the vibrant Sundbyberg neighborhood in Stockholm. The office offers a comfortable and inspiring environment for our employees to thrive. As an Electronics Manager, you will collaborate closely with other teams within the R&D department. You will report to the VP R&D and have the mandate to independently execute the tasks outlined in this job description, policies, or instructions within Profoto.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you are a strong leader and has experience of electronics development, in addition to:

• Relevant Master of Science degree or higher
• A minimum of 3 years of leadership
• Hands-on relevant experience in product and electronic development
• Fluent spoken and written English
