- Act as an application engineer for our system deliveries to customers in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
- Collaborate with our customers' experts to configure our applications to meet the customer requirements.
- Work closely with customers to develop efficient and robust workflow integrations between SCADA/EMS/GMS systems and other IT/OT systems, leveraging state-of-the-art interface and integration technologies.
- Create and execute test plans and procedures with customers to ensure the system meets contractual requirements.
- Provide training to customers on operating EMS/GMS functions within the system.
- Coordinate and efficiently resolve technical problems reported by customers in collaboration with our technical team.
- Provide expert support to the proposals and tendering team, enabling Hitachi Energy to submit high quality bids.

- Masters (or higher) degree in energy systems, electrical engineering, or computer science.
- Previous experience in the SCADA/EMS/GMS systems business.
- Understanding of Energy/Generation Management Systems and their components.
- Understanding of power transmission networks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C and FORTRAN.
- Willingness to travel and work at our customer locations.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with an eagerness to thrive in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments classified as low engineering complexity. Ensure that activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. EngineeringDevelopment: As a technical lead for all Engineering disciplines - evaluates, selects and applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform task or sequence of tasks, for conventional projects with few complex featuresExecutes assignments using established solutions Authorization: May act as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completes engineering assignments for that discipline.Constructionsupport: Collaborates on project installation, commissioning and site activities, clarifying potential issues or providing solutions to correct engineering errors.Provides technical support to commissioning and start-up activities.
