ABOUT THE POSITION

Thanks to a continuous three figure growth (+170% FY22 vs FY21) and ambitious expansion plans we are now looking to increase our analytics organization further with an awesome Data Science 'magician' eager to advance Kreditz revolutionizing products even further alongside a team of credit scoring experts, mathematicians and genuinely passionate colleagues.

We are currently entering an exciting phase (startup to scaleup) and expanding our market presence rapidly in the Nordic countries and in Europe. Our clients range from some of Europe's largest banks and iGaming companies to smaller, innovative businesses.

As a Senior Data Scientist at Kreditz, your playing field is data, vast amount of data. Our products and services are highly data driven, and to remain innovative you need to be confident in the analysis of both the known, and the unknown. Kreditz expects you to be able to analyze large internal and external data sets, make data driven conclusions, and evaluate your findings to optimize Kreditz algorithms and statistical models. This role is an important part of Kreditz growing analytics team, which is led by our CAO.

TASKS

Some of the tasks you will be performing, and lead, as a Senior Data Scientist at Kreditz:

• Management and structuring of vast amounts of data
• Analysis, interpretations and predictions of data
• Transaction categorization and exploration (NLP, classification)
• Optimization of Kreditz algorithms and statistical models
• Support junior colleagues in their analytical work
• Lead model development, follow-ups and performance evaluation
• Model ownership, including development and implementation
• Project lead in both client- and internal projects
• Proactive data driven product development together with Product owner

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A colleague who is analytical, structured and communicative. Someone who (like us) is up for the BIG challenge to disrupt traditional credit scoring systems via Open Banking/PSD2-technology. To be successful in this role, you must have a positive
" We can do it " mindset, along with an appreciation of working in a fast-paced growth company. You are comfortable in being independent in your daily work as well as acting with responsibility both towards your colleagues and clients.

Additionally, we believe that you have:

• +5 yrs experience from financial services/tech/insurance/consulting or equivalent relevant experience
• A relevant academic background (Engineering, Data/IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics)
• Proven experience from DL/ML/NPL projects within relevant industry
• The ability to take your analysis and models to production deployment
• Confident in coding languages such as: Python, R and SQL
• Very good communications skills in English (speech/writing), Swedish or other language skills is meritorious
  
• Credit risk modeling from bank or financial institutions is meritorious
• Experience from PSD2/Open Banking is meritorious
