- Doctoral degree in bioinformatics
- Postdoctoral research experience in both the SARS-CoV-2 area and cervical cancer prevention
- Proficiency in regularly speaking in public and experience in presenting both scientifically and in a popular science manner
- Experience in handling and analyzing large databases such as quality registries
- Educational background in Machine Learning

Your Role
You will be performing database management and analysis of registry data to increase knowledge about SARS-CoV-2 and for the prevention of cervical cancer. The position is divided into two equal parts, where one part involves analyzing SARS-CoV-2 data, and the other part involves analyzing cervix cancer data.
As a research specialist, you will be responsible for collaborations in database analysis, both within the research group and with researchers from other institutions within Karolinska Institutet.
We expect you to have strong analytical skills and experience in handling large amounts of data. You will be responsible for managing large project databases and monitoring the analysis of such data.
Requirements
Qualified to be employed as a research specialist is someone who has demonstrated scientific expertise and has obtained a doctoral degree or a foreign degree equivalent to a Swedish doctoral degree, with documented research work post-disputation.
