About the job

As a Platform Engineer at Brocc, you will be responsible for managing our cloud infrastructure, automating CI/CD pipelines, and implementing robust cloud security practices. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and reliability of our applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software deployment process.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
Implement and maintain cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues.
Monitor system performance and proactively address scalability and capacity concerns.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud and DevOps technologies to continuously improve our infrastructure.

About you

Experience as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or in a similar role.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, with a focus on AWS.
Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools.
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Github Actions).
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards is a plus.
