Volvo Cars is making a historic investment by opening a state-of-the-art software testing center in Sweden. Volvo Cars new generation of fully electric vehicles is hardware-designed but software-defined. This results in exciting new models like the flagship EX90 and the compact yet powerful EX30 SUV, which continuously improves through regular wireless software updates.
With a size of approximately 22,000 square meters and an initial investment of around 300 million SEK, the new software testing center located in Torslanda is the flagship in Volvo Cars' network of technology centers and Tech Hubs worldwide.
Description of the role
As a member of Volvo Cars Test & Development Team, you will play a key role in designing, constructing, and maintaining test rigs for various units within the organization. You will work with the latest technology in hardware and software development, with a focus on mechatronics and automated testing.

About the talent program
These positions are part of Hubbau ́s talent program which is a collaboration together with Volvo Cars. During the 12-month talent program you will be employed by Hubbau and work as a consultant in your specific role at Volvo Cars. After that, the ambition is that your journey instead turns into employment directly at Volvo Cars.

You will gain an extended network through 12 collaborative traing days with our sister companies Vinnter, Redigo and Pollen – experts in respcective fields. Other information
This is a full-time job. Volvo Cars has an "office first"-policy but with possible flexibility for remote work if needed in some occasions.
