Location: Umeå, Sweden -Hybrid

As a Senior Developer you will become a core member and have an important role in building up the sportsbook product for ComeOn group. It also involves a high level of collaboration with the rest of the cross functional team. Together with the team you will contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from conceptualizing and discussing functionality to implementing features, participating in crucial architectural decisions as well as maintaining the products.

About You:

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Java (preferably 5+ years)
• Previous experience with large scale microservices based applications where performance and scalability is crucial.
• Good experience working with Spring.
• Experienced working with databases.
• Experienced with kubernetes.
• Experienced with kafka.
• Has a strong grasp of architectural principles and expertise in best practices.
• Know your way around GIT.
• Take end-to-end ownership of the products, from planning to release.
• Experience working in agile teams.
• Focuses on maintainability and technical debt.
• Experience with Code Reviews.

Skills Desired:

• Having full stack experience is a plus, especially full stack with React.
• It is a plus but not mandatory to have domain knowledge (igaming, sports betting, payment solutions)

Soft Skills Desired:

• Be a role model towards other developers in the team
• Encouraging to new ideas
• Being a good communicator also requires you to work on your listening skills and ability to understand others.
• Supporting the team to boost their skills to create a stimulating work environment.
