Beskrivning

We are currently looking for system engineers with a hardware profile at Naval Combat Systems.

Your Role

You will be involved in all phases of the projects, from initial requirements analysis through development, production, maintenance, to decommissioning. You will also have numerous contacts with both internal and external parties and participate in various networks and forums. As a systems engineer, you will be responsible for requirement decomposition and architecture and interface issues in one of client high-tech products. You will work closely with many of the different sections that are part of our design department as well as with other stakeholders within client organization. The many contact surfaces and involvement in the entire lifecycle make this position both flexible and stimulating.

The Work

Design of product/system architecture including interfaces
Identifying requirements for client products and breaking down these requirements
Collaborating with product and project management, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the current system's requirements match the expected delivery.
Following the system through development, integration, and verification during the development phase.
Serving as a sounding board for designers and developers on how to structure the work from a systems perspective.

Your Profile

Engineering graduate (Master's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent).
Minimum 2-3 years work experience in product development of advanced technical systems.
Experience with structured requirements management, system architecture is highly meritorious.
Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
Merit is given for having worked with requirements (for example, in DOORS) and design documentation and work within the defence industry.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where client has requirements for security classification, Swedish citizenship may be required in some cases.
