    CI Leader Central & Nordics This role will act as a Continuous Improvement (CI) business partner to the Central and Nordic region to identify, lead, manage and drive continuous improvement initiatives, simplification, process optimization, defect reduction and waste elimination. You will be responsible for driving a continuous improvement culture, coaching others to build capability, and being an enabler to ensure the business achieves productivity, targets and long-term business result, as well as maintaining a strong pipeline of CI initiatives. The role will also provide leadership and support for defining and maintaining project management standards and best practices for successfully delivering result from transformational, strategic, and continuous improvement initiatives. 30% travel within the Central and Nordic region. Responsibilities: Acts as regional CI leader and business partner:
  • Partner with Business and Functional Leaders to facilitate idea generation and build a pipeline of regional improvement and transformational opportunities.
  • Lead the strategy deployment process and ensure alignment across the organization and regions for key priorities as well as coordination/alignment between Europe priorities, TLIPs and regional strategic initiatives/projects
  • Ensure effective definition and implementation of process and financial metrics (including hard and soft savings) to validate results and tracking performance, efficiency improvements and revenue generation efforts.
  • Facilitate and drive the use of CI practices, processes and tools applied to commercial, transactional and service activities.
  • Facilitate a roadmap for standardization of lean processes and alignment towards cross regional common IT tools/platforms, integrating digital and innovative solutions into the processes.
  • Drive benefits, productivity and support delivery schedules as a result of implementation of CI initiatives
  • Direct involvement in specific projects and identification of regional synergy opportunities.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and lead improvement projects related to strategic and regional priorities.
  • Provide leadership for strengthening and fostering CI culture, process and standards:
  • Facilitate, train and coach leaders and employees in the use of CI/Lean Six-Sigma tools to approach problems and projects.
  • Lead workshops, training, coaching and change management with business leaders and employees to build CI culture and mindset.
  • Act as subject matter expert on CI, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Drive visibility across the organization of key improvement initiatives and their status and progress
  • Lead project management process and standards for CI, transformational and strategic projects:
  • Responsibility for building, managing, monitoring and improving project portfolios using best PMO practices including ideation, prioritization, development, implementation and sustainment of projects.
  • Ensure projects are integrated and aligned with business activities, improvement goals, business strategy and coordinated appropriate project/process owners to accomplish goals.
  • Ensure governance, alignment and resourcing, best practices, knowledge sharing and project manager competence and maturity in project management methodologies.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to meet time, quality and scope requirements.
  • Supporting leaders to deliver on project objectives and overseeing the execution of CI and transformational projects.
  • Develop reporting, procedures, processes, governance and tools, and implement a monitoring process.

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering or Business
  • Green Belt, Black Belt certification preferred
  • 5+ years of proven experience in leading continuous improvement/lean in an industrial or transactional environment
  • Strong business acumen and financial literacy
  • Proven project management and leadership abilities in a matrix team environment
  • Demonstrated experience driving large scale process improvements with result showing improved business result, increased productivity, waste elimination and improved lead/cycle times.
  • Demonstrated experience of leading significant change in large organization
  • Fluent in English
