- Develop, model, and document data sets enabling our self-service analytics workbench
- Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to understand their needs and design data solutions that meet their requirements.
- Review and optimize existing data models to ensure adequate performance and quality standards.
- Support in implementing systematic data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while focusing on scalability, robustness, and minimizing technical debt.
- 2+ years of experience as Analytics Engineer or a few years of experience in similar roles (Data Engineering and Analytics)
- You are proficient in SQL
- You are familiar with data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- You like to solve problems and find solutions independently while openly discussing them with others.
- You always look to improve yourself and your working methods and are eager to try and learn new things.
- You have strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Power BI) Experience with Dev/Ops practices (e.g., version control, continuous integration/continuous delivery)

About the Team
As an Analytics Engineer, you will belong to the Data Engineering team responsible for delivering data and insights to the entire Storytel organization. We drive the full data lifecycle, from ingestion to delivery, and help ensure that the rest of the business has the data, tools, and engineering collaboration needed to help them make informed data-driven decisions. As a team, we provide cross-functional competencies in data engineering to deliver data products across the company.
Some of the tech stack and tools we work with are SQL, Looker, dbt core, GCP, and Bigquery
