Gifty AIDOO

I have experience in maternal and child health, conducting antenatal, delivery, and postnatal services. I am also vexed in health education, as I champion the course of health promotion events and counseling. I have improved male involvement in maternal care and access to contraceptives for adolescents and women with the Ghana Health Service from April 2015 to July 2024. I effectively managed a clinical coordination program for nursing and midwifery students, coupled with clinical and classroom teaching at the University of Ghana, College of Health Science, Maternal and Child Health Department from April 2022 to June 2024. I initiated the personal carer project that helped bridge the gap between patients in rural settings and health care services. I also functioned as a sales personnel with Marvelous Solution where I conducted inventory assessments to optimize stock levels and enhance effective operation from January 2008 to November 2009. I currently volunteer at PMU's Second-hand shop in Falun at the cafeteria, rendering wholesome service and making hygienic meals. 

I am currently studying a master's program in Global Sexual and Reproductive Health, at Dalarna University which is expected to end in June. I hold a bachelor of science in Pediatric nursing with a first-class honor from the University of Ghana. Also, I have a diploma in midwifery from Midwifery Training College, Atibie, and a certification of practice from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana.
